Flood states that Thomas 'continued the business of piano manufacture after his father's death in 1784', De Valera states that he was a harpsichord maker and did not build organs but the Dublin Directories list him from 1787 as an 'organ builder'. Note: Rachel and Thomas Ferdinand Weber are listed at different address in the Dublin Directories between 1787 and 1789 (Rachel as a harpsichord maker and Thomas Ferdinand as an organ builder), Thomas Ferdinand moving to his mother's address following her death in 1789.]
