On 19 June 1795 one 'Jones' was paid with [Thomas Ferdinand] Weber in the Trinity College Dublin accounts for Commons [College dinner]. Payments of this nature were at times made to organ builders when tuning or repairing the chapel organ. It is not known if Jones was an assistant organ builder to Weber or employed in some other trade.
