1843–1852
7 Westmoreland Street
39 or 59 Fleet Street [second premises]
Succeeded the business of Robinson, Bussell & Robinson at the same address.
Advertised as musical instrument makers to the army in 1850 (Waterhouse).
Mark [could refer to Robinson & Bussell or Robinson, Bussell & Robinson]: '(unicorn head) / Robinson & CO / 7 WESTMORELAND ST / DUBLIN' (Waterhouse, MIMO).
Succeeded in business by Henry Bussell in 1852.
[Details differ according to sources: the Dublin Directories give the address of 39 Fleet Street but advertisements in the Evening Packet give the address as 59 Fleet Street. Humphries & Smith give 7 Westmoreland Street and 39 Fleet Street from c. 1843 to 1852. Note: the Dublin Directories and the 'Letter from Edward Bull' give the office of the Warder newspaper at 39/59 Fleet Street during this period. Teahan incorrectly lists 'Robinson, Russell [sic] & Co., Trombone Makers' in Westmoreland Street c. 1820, but Isaac Willis was at 7 Westmoreland Street at this date.]
