Succeeded in business by Matthew Pace in 1798 (Waterhouse) at 23 Henry Street (Dublin Directories and Teahan).

[Details differ according to sources: the Dublin Directories give Henry Street between 1770 and 1774 and 23 Henry Street between 1775 and 1796; thereafter he is not listed until the isolated entry in 1796. Doyle (citing the Dublin Directories) gives Clarke Esaw [sic] at Henry Street in 1770. Teahan gives Henry Street from 1767 to 1774 and 23 Henry Street from 1775 to 1788.
