Father of Francis Panormo.

Vincenzo Panormo was born in Sicily in 1734 and worked mainly in Paris, and, later in London where he died in 1813.

One of the leading violin makers of his age, he 'worked at Dublin for a year or so where he built several instruments of wood for [which] the backs and ribs [were] cut from an old maple billiard table (Henley). The exact dates of his period in Dublin are not recorded.

Teahan also reports that he worked in Cork.
